Just leave it down when you go, she’ll never complain about it being up again, in fact she will lift it back up when she is done. (And I wonder why I am single)
I’d like to know where he got a magnet that can do that from what appears to be several feet away without disrupting electronics or having all manner of office equipment stuck to his buckle!
I can see the issue over leaving the seat up; in fact, I prefer it that way myself since when I get up at night to use it I prefer to squat (even though I’m a male). But neither my wife or I can see any point in lid down, at least now that we don’t have to worry anymore about little kids dropping things into the toilet.
Ever since I read that rats and snakes can come up thru the toilet, (chances are slim however) I’m paranoid about leaving the lid up. LID. Not seat! SEAT up is a whole other issue!

As the South Park documentary showed, leaving a toilet seat up is no laughing matter. Falling into a toilet is a horrible way to die.

I he is supposed to leave the seat down as a courtesy to her; why shouldn’t she leave the seat up as a courtesy to him?
