I heard about a guy who apartment was so small that when he bent over his toupee fell off and he had wall-to-wall carpeting!

Downsizing. It all hits us sooner or later. Love it.

This is actually true. In some cities (NYC is one, somewhere in Japan or Korea is another), some unscrupulous landlords have actually subdivided a single floor in such a way as to make many barely-livable (and illegal) apartments. They’ve even split rooms into half horizontally, upper and lower. Here’s a link to an article from last year on one instance:

Hi Everyone! Hi Little Alien Dude! Bleeb? Do you think she will like his roommates? All 20 of them? She is a mess! Whatever she has on her hands she’s gotten all over her dress too! :)

Not much worry about tracking dirt in, and moving around will tend to polish the floor.
