I never did stand a ghost of a chance in those classes. My theory has always been to do as little as possible. If you write in disappearing ink you might just as well save the effort of writing at all. :-)
Actually, Doc, you CAN call many of my cartoons posthumorous - and some of them pothumous as well. Those that die on the site, of which there are many, I think will be much funnier after we are all gone… but then, who will laugh at them?
Why do the protagonists in these cartoons so often (at least to me) remind me of Chief Thom Thom in appearance? Is this actual, or has Chief Sitting Duck been smoking locoweed?
(not to be outdone by a mere amphibian…even if he does owe the Frog the idea…)
A old hack writer typed his script one dark and windy day.
Upon a phrase he rested as he went along his way,
When all at once a mighty bunch of pop-up ads he saw,
Filling up his monitor until he gasped in awe.
Their brands were BBB-approved, their promises looked real;
Their offers were seductive and their savings he could feel.
A bolt of joy went through him as he thought about the work
That he’d be spared by giving it unto some other jerk.
Yippee-I-Oh…

If a joke falls in the strip, does it make one laugh?
Digital- If you keep this up, they’ll have to start paying you.
If you hold paper with invisible ink up to a flame, the ink reappears.
If you hold it close enough, it disappears again in a puff of smoke.

It’s an overthought cartoon with too many sub-gags that render the overall gag unreadable, unfortunately.
