I’m not really getting in the Christmas spirit, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have the goodies, I can still make those.

I don’t know…maybe a few strips of Earl trying to bake is own Christmas goodies are in order?

BC13, obviously you don’t know that you can’t BUY Christmas goodies. You HAVE to make them. They just don’t taste the same.

FoxTrottrGrl Since I don’t eat much if any of those “goodies” anyway, it would be a waste of time and effort to prepare them. I can buy what little I need, and I prefer mixed nuts to sweets.

I prefer to knock myself out on what special main coarses are being prepared.

I’m with Earl. I can live without a Christmas tree (and have for many years because if I have one the cats won’t leave it alone) and certainly a lot of the sappy stupid songs they have now (give me the religious ones though!) but no way can we do without the Christmas eats and sweets. Bring ‘em on!

Me I have to be carefull of chocolate I break out in a rash and loose sleep. But lately no chocolate and not much sleep my mind doesn’t close. We have a cat and dog and this time the cat is leaving the tree along. Our tree is not real

Joe, I’m sorry for the posts of hurtful people. Sorry your family has moved away. I can no longer visit my family either – not in this world. God bless!
