Alex: Who could've foreseen I'd find myself in a trailer park - and happy! My life would make such a great movie! I can't believe all you're handling now, Leo - the studio job, college, the band, all your therapy... I don't know how you have the mindshare for a girlfriend - especially one as high-maintenance as me! I might as well pack my bags now. Why would you want to worry about me when you have so many challenges of your own? Why? Because it's a lot easier to manage if you're not alone! A partner's support can keep you strong! That's why! If Gary’s reading this, Leo has been a great addition to the family. He is such a nice guy. Leo and Alex are perfect for each other.
BTW, re: that comment about her life being a great movie in panel 2: Alex still has a touch of her mother in her, doesn’t she?

Since Leo has a service-connected disablilty, he really doesn’t have to live in trailer park with his mother.
He should have a full VA Disablity Pension.
Alex could just leave if she wanted. She doesn’t have to be there either.
That’s what Leo/Toggle meant. .
You must not be very familar with the post-Bush VA.
If only real Girlfriends were that easy to talk back after they whip themselves into a meltdown.

What Leo meant was the she’s worrying over nothing and if he gives her a minute, she’s smart enough to figure it out. It was not some veiled comment that she could leave the trailer park, especially since that part was not said out loud.

That’s 50% disability, Toggle has one eye left and he has a job. Good for $800-$1200 a month according to the state he lives in.

Hmmmm. Seems like someone on here (I won’t mention who, I don’t want to embarrass them) likes to ramble on about them selves that has nothing to do with the subject of the strip. I noticed this when I first started watching before I joined.
Now, as for the strip; You GO for it, Leo. Get some!
