My question, who formed the National Procrastinators Society? Is the founder a member? Wouldn’t the fact that they went out and formed the society, automatically disqualify someone from being a member?

Maybe he founded the Society after not doing everything else he was supposed to do.

The problem with addressing pop culture in a strip, show or movie is that future viewers don’t get it once the pop reference fades into obscurity. Google “Clint Eastwood empty chair” to read about his 2012 appearance at the RNC.
