Pity, as Envy was a good comic to begin with. But as Pandolph descended, Faust-like, into his own personal hell, it went away with everything else he did well at one time.

Yeah, I remember Green With Envy…VERY short lived, but it was a fun strip while it lasted. In retrospect, though, it probably was unwise for Pandolph to have tried doing it on top of everything else he was trying to trudge through at the time.

Life wasn’t pleasant in the Adirondacks for a creative sort, and booze and drugs were prevalent back in those days. Sad to see the decline of his talents, knowing his folksand their torture wasn’t fun either..
