I might have enjoyed math if I could have applied that concept…

He must of put some double-sided tape on the swing to keep from falling out.

But can he get the correct answers while swinging? (My high school math teacher once said of me as I wrote at the chalkboard, “Look! He even gets the right answer with his left hand!”)

Actually, he IS math in motion. His trajectory, his changes in velocity and momentum, his changes in kinetic and potential energy, his action as a pendulum…there must be enough algebra and calculus in all of that to choke a horse.

Since the hand held calculator was invented, I have forgotten how to add two and two.

It’s amazing how different teachers dealt with left handed pupils.

When I entered kindergarten, the teacher gave us instructions on how to angle the paper when we wrote… and she told us to angle it in a different manner based on whether we were right or left handed.

Yet that was in a time and age when I know that in some places, the teachers suppressed left handedness in children.

Considering all the times he’s done his homework on the bus, math in motion isn’t really all that new to him.

Some people misunderstand the word “sinister” and think lefthandedness is evil by definition.
