I was lucky in a way. I never got liver and onions but everything else tasted just about as bad.

You mean I wasn’t the only kid who tried dog food?

I love liver and onions with hobo gravy and made in a cast iron skillet it’s sooooo gooood, it never gave me gas just I would taste it in my mouth for the next 24 hours every time I buuuurrrrpppped.

My brother and I had it pretty good growing up. The only time we had to eat something icky was if both parents would eat it. Lucky for us Dad didn’t like liver and onions. Or broccoli.

I love liver and onions and bacon, but I only get it in restaurants. We tried making it at home once and it took about a week to get the smell out.

Now I want liver and onions. :(
