I think one can now safely conclude the Copenhagen conference was a failure, so that lifeboat is going to be rather useless. Looks like the Chinese trully torpedoed it.

^It’s possible for a virus to be too successful. If it kills its host before it has time to infect another host, the virus dies along with its host.

No different for us humans. The earth is our host. We can be so virulent that we kill ourselves in the process of damaging the very processes upon which we depend, or we can be less virulent and continue until other external circumstances bring about change.

(BTW, there are many viruses/disease organisms that have coevolved with their hosts to be fairly innocuous. Something like 50% of human beings are infected with cytomegalovirus with only mild effects.)

The deniers and the designers of the Titanic made the same basic error- go faster- make more money- trust us, you don’t need those silly lifeboats any more.

Guess what- science proved that when there is a hole in your theory - that “Man” can do anything he wants - you sink to the bottom of a dangerous sea.

if GORE really believed what he says he would be investing in future beachfront property about 50 miles inland…..instead he invests in “carbon credits” because he knows his hoax has succeeded
