I saw the movie last night, and had the same reaction to quite a few of the lines, such as : “I am an officer in the Soviet Air Force” “The cassettes with with your messages are in the communications bay” “Nice thing about a reactionary president is at least the food’s good. with the last one we didn’t eat, we grazed.”

“I’m the Doctor!”

And while we’re on the subject, where is my flying car??

I was definitely promised a flying car by now…

Well, at least they found it funny. The movie didn’t make the least bit of sense to me :P

Vikings, & probably China & Mali, made contact with the Americas. But it didn’t count because they didn’t maintain contact or spread the word, so we celebrate Columbus. When the aliens want to show us the One True Faith, by taking our land & resources & giving us diseases, we’ll know.
