    It’s terrible when one’s joke goes unappreciated…

The ‘60s weren’t good to you, were they, Mr. Wedekind?

Mr. Wedekind seems to find himself terribly amusing. Alice, and I, not.

Alice’s Dad is much the same way when it comes to jokes.

Some assembly required on that bike though, I’m guessing, ha ha ha. Anyway Alice knows better to encourage him.

I think I’ve read some of Mr. Wedekind’s posts on GoComics!

Old people like myself have a lot of little private jokes like Mr. Wedekind. It’s a mistake to say them out loud to anyone older than Alice. Children younger than Alice merely find them mysteriously annoying.

Google Frank Wedekind, German playwright, died 1918. His “Fruehlings Erwachen” (Spring’s Awakening") was on Broadway to great acclaim the last two years or so.

I’m afraid Richard never shared that! I have friends who build trebuchets however!
