Nothing missing in the strip, guys. The Wiz looks at the potion in Panel 2 and realizes that not even he dares move it - and he’s holding it.

Thus the Kingdom of Id went out not with a whimper, but with a bang.

Well, it’s certainly not PETN. Even on fire it wouldn’t explode.

Military explosives are actually pretty insensitive. That’s why they keep digging up bombs and shells from two World Wars all over Europe.

Homemade stuff, now that’s a different story. That’s why you can’t take a full bottle of shampoo on a plane nowadays.
