Bucky: This baseball game isn't very exciting. Rob: Depends how you look at it. Bucky: I'm using my eyes, how are you looking at it? It very well may be all the excitement my nostrils could handle, but that's not really why you watch baseball, is it? Ooo, this bit's more exciting. Rob: This is a laundry soap commercial.

Buck’s the perfect embodiment of those hating on baseball. And yet, he’s so funny doing it.

I’m laughing so hard here.

Gotta say, Rob’s pretty glassy eyed himself, there. Of course if what you’re into is sprawling motionless on the sofa, there’s that.

Baseball on TV…how else can one cram 5 minutes of excitement into 3 whole hours!-My Cubs tanked before June, so I stopped caring :)

Well, who can look away from …“ancient Chinese secret, huh”?

If Bucky were a Yankee fanlike me, he couldn’t do anything else but watch the games, especially now that they’re in the playoffs. That’s probably what Rob’s watching tho he’s not wearing a Yankee hat. If the ball were a tunaburger, Bucky would be interested.

I must be part cat then. Can’t stand to watch baseball on TV. Give me a good NFL game anyday.

Baseball is for viewers who can’t divide their attention very well, like me (when I have any interest in sports). I find football and basketball too much of a blitz.

I’ll be listening to Braves v. Cards tonight on a very straight long highway. I’m going to need caffeine too.

Since a cat spends most of its time sitting around napping/inactive, interspersed with brief, frantic activity, I’d think that baseball is the perfect “cat sport”.

Very true. I probably spend more time focusing on the venders and pacing/racing for the next round than watching baseball, but the atmosphere is fun!

i watch very little sports on tv. if i do, it’s only the 4th quarter or the ninth inning in a close game. & only if it’s the college gators or knights, or the jags, bucs, dolphins or a game that affects them. everything else is boring. most of the game is exciting in the last 2 minutes.the last time i watched a whole game was the playoffs & super bowl when the bucs won the super bowl.

$10 beers and $8 Hot dogs? That is cheap from what I hear they cost at Jerry World in Dallas. I agree with you though these people could have bought a case of beer and dozen hot dogs for what they pay for at a stadium. I never spend money for food at a stadium it is a big rip off.

Pro sports used to be ‘pro’…ie, proletarian. Now working folkcan’t afford tickets…how about that?

As long as Amy Sedaris was in the laundry soap commercial it would be more exciting…

How true you could watch 5 different channels of baseball and flip thru them all without ever missing a pitch. Baseball needs a 24 second clock

If it is not played on ice and no blood flows, it really isn’t a sport…
