The ref is clearly blind if he calls that a goal, or he is bought. Or possibly a replacement :D. Hand on the ball is clearly a faul, and considering the sport is called FOOTball isn´t shouldn´t take a whole lot of braincells that you can´t use your hands while the ball is in play unless its the goalie. Anything else is positioning the ball or throwing it out into play again.

Hey, surprised nobody mentioned this but that was a hand ball!

One time, the ball hit me in the face-ON PURPOSE-and I got kicked in my bits too, you’re not the only one garfieldfanclubpresident and as boys, we both know it hurts!

Sometimes, I’m like Nate. Can’t focus much. Coz I was spinning around the goalpost singing ‘Barbie Girl’ when the ball hit me in nuts. Dizziness wore off in ten seconds, my privets? Ten minutes!

I see I got here late to the party to mention the obvious. ::grins:: However, depending upon exactly where the ref was standing, it’s possible it looked as if the kid headed the ball.

Now what would be neat is having the kid admit he’d handed it, even though that meant losing the first game they’d ‘won’ in 5 years.

Garfieldfan: There are prominent white stripes delineating where, outside of which, even a goalie cannot use hands. To score a goal with a throw from within the proper area is one mighty arm! Of course it wouldn’t count.

Even the kid that knocked it in looks shocked. Maybe he’ll admit to the hand ball, what do you think?

Actually, everyone, there is no “handball” in football, or soccer. The call is “deliberate handling of the ball” and this is clearly an instance of it.

Get the call right if you’re going to dispute it, spectators: Deliberate handling of the ball, not Handball!
