It’s not Aesop but I do know a story involving a snakebite in less fortunate place south of the equator.
An antidote, not an anecdote!
Last rights, maybe?
Love the title of the book, Aesops Fibs, but why would anyone bring that with them on a hike?
The snake looks very pleased with him/herself. Watch your backside Fred, there’s another one.
thanks, Chess – I wasn’t getting this one – a bit subtle
First … chop off it’s head, so it can’t bite again!Second … call 9-1-1 (if you get cell service)Third … start carrying him to the vehicle you came to the park in, than drive like a SOB!
Vampire snakes?Rock and shrubbery faces.
The rocks have rather stony faces—especially the one above each hiker’s head. Also a nice face on the blue shirt pocket.
+++++
Do you think that the snake has Fred rattled?
Reminds me of "Snakes on a Plain . " . . . ☻
I like the rock faces.
Told him not to eat the “apple!”
