It looks like Lynn has reverted back to her “new” style of draw…at first she was demonstrating her “old” way and removed a lot of the background as in the 80’s. I’ve noticed the background creeping back in.

the comments in GoComics used to be funny, witty, sharp, with puns and other good things….

I love this strip. Its amazing how many comment are made here, and how everyone is sooo involved with it.

I wonder if Lynn Johnston reads the comments. I hope so. I want to see John’s mid-life beer belly, and stuff like that. C’mon, Ms. Lynn. It’s been long enough. It’s 2010, let’s see some female assertiveness and self-confidence. At least let’s see Elly start learning about these things and being confortable with independance and kicking some butt.

Pearlandpeach and OpenWings, you were never appointed as moderators here. I notice you both saying whatever you please every day, and I find you both highly confrontational and insulting to many people, by name. That’s against the rules here you know. It’s funny how some people claim to be so “in good taste” and then attack other commenters at will. Everyone else can say how they feel on here too. Not just you. Elly is a mental case, even on a good day. Deal with it. That’s the majority opinion.

I pity the children (and pets) of anyone who feels that Elly’s constant screaming and yelling and total self absorption is acceptable, let alone endearing. I hope Lynn DOES read the comments. I’m sure that’s what her therapist told her too.
