And once again, behold the fruits of the privatization in the hands of corporations unfettered by those pesky environmental regulations. Really, Tea Partiers — THIS is the Earth you want your grandchildren and great-grandchildren to live on, just so your precious corporations can run everything and make themselves (and you) richer while the rest of us grow poorer because of their (and your) greed?

It would be great living in a pollution free world, I could drive to work with the windows down.

Those pesky corporations that provide the products that we use and enjoy and need every day. Those pesky corporations that provide jobs and income for so many people. Those pesky corporations that abide by EPA rules and regulations. Hey, I’ve got a good idea, let’s turn them over to the government to run. Now that would make things much better. The private sector obviously has no idea how to take care of itself.

BC’s authors used to be decent conservative types. What happened? Is someone blackmailing them? :(

Why would you be surprised if the EPA has “overstepped its bounds and is no longer controlled by any common sense” It is a government entity isn’t it.

I don’t usually defend Obamabut this time I shall. What was said above about the EPA regulatios doing a good job in the 70’s and 80’s, is a true statement. However, Obama is not to blame for the current overstepping by EPA. He should have stood firmer a time or two but the EPA and its sister, OSHA have been overstepping for much longer. There over zealous rules and regs, coupled with the China trade, has almost emptied this country of manufacturing jobs. What’s left is getting by on far reduced profits(if any) on what is made in the USA.>>Folks, over regulation, in some areas, is hurting us. Let’s get together and stand united aginst this.
