I know how this guy feels, I would like to avoid politics altogether if I could. It’s all about bashing the other guy.

I wish everyone just went to votesmart.org , picked the runners from whichever party they agreed on the issues with most, and then voted for them instead of this “if you don’t vote democrat or republican, your vote counts for nothing” stuff. Using their VoteEasy system, I found my views actually align best with the Green Party candidate. My friend’s sided with the Constitution Party candidate.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a worse choice in candidates.

Agree 100% and there are those who’ll deliberately destroy anything they did want or support if the “other side” built it. Just because they did.

I think it was once called “cutting off your nose to spite your face” but that doesn’t come close to describing it now days.

I’m all about keeping clowns in the comics and out of the oval office, so I’ll be voting to save Big Bird!

The U.S. is a one-party corporate state masquerading as a two-party democracy. The Republican wing of the Corporate Party is far to the right; the Democratic wing is slightly less far to the right. I vote for the Democratic wing because they’re a little more protective of individual rights — especially marriage rights and reproductive rights. As for everything else, there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between them.
