I think cartoon snowmen are universal; he’s not ripping off Calvin, as Charles Schultz for one drew them long before in Peanuts.

I do not think Bill Watterson would mind if anyone did a pariody of Calvin, considering he does not enforce a copy right anyway. And besides, this is defionatly not a Calvin and Hobbes rip off.
