Sorry, I’ve given this new artist more than two weeks before saying anything, but I think Naploleon Dynamite could do a better job. Bring back Brian!

I think Harrell is much improved! The weekly themed strips were getting old. This is a breath of fresh air and some reminiscence since Big Top is no longer new.

There is definitely a difference in the art and I do prefer Brian’s style, but it’s barely noticeable. Methinks, they doth protest too much.

Also, I think the writing is back to its roots. When the strip first started it was about the family, not just coffee and computers.

I was recently reading Adam in my local newsperiodical and I remarked to my wife, Bonnie, “Bonnie dear, there seems to be a change in the art style.”

Well if you knew Bonnie, you’d know that she does not take these things lightly, so we Google’d the issue and lo and behold there was a new artist.

Now I can’t explain what happened next but it was startling. At first we were angry, looking for someone to blame and cursing God for ruining our lives, then, slowly, we became intoxicated by the new art.

The emptiness that we’d felt in our lives was now gone. And just last week, we had a “New Art for Adam” party at our house that was attended by more than 1,000 people … all of who agreed that the strip was a delightful repsite from the topsy-turby world we lived in.

At one point during the party, Bonnie turned to me and said, “I love you.” She hadn’t said that in more than 26 years. Thank you, new-art Adam. Thank you for saving my life.

Why has the illustration style of Adam@Home changed in recent weeks? It isn’t Brian’s style. Does he have a ghost cartoonist?

I want to thank Warren for his brave story.

I too, thought that life was not worth living. Adam was my whole world. I felt he did deserve the Noble Prize or maybe some more prestigious like a Golden Globe.

But then I drank the strip in, like a hot glass of cocoa and I let it percolate in my veins.

It became one with my bloodstream and I was elevated to a new plane of consciousness.

Yes, Adam is different, but, once you figure it out, once you come to terms on your own level, you will find new ways to relate to humanity.

    Shukriyaa!

I too want to thank Warren and Amer.

It’s courageous people like these two that can help us all shed the stigma of living in shame.

No longer will we hide in the shadows! It’s is OK to embrace the new Adam and the old. We are not animals! We are your friends, your dentists, your postmen, your gastrolentologists, your cobblers, your hatmakers, etc.

Cannot a father have two children? Cannot a women have but two nostrile? Of course, and they love each equally.

Wow. While I prefered Brian’s artwork, I am truely enjoying the new story lines. However, I could have skipped todays comic and simply enjoyed the wonderful comments section. The comic is good, but it’s the comments that have me ROFL.

I’ll admit I’ve prefered the writing over the past two weeks, but not the drawings. Laura used to be a real babe, but now her nose is almost as big and round as Adam’s. Could we have Harrell write and and Brian draw?

I’ve really liked the changeover too. My only complaint is that the text is a bit hard to read. But I really like the fresh stories. It had been getting SO repetitive.

Does anyone know, does Basset do the writing? Or is the new guy writing and inking?
