That pool is ridiculous. The kid’s got to be pretending dad’s feet are some kind of sea creature. And where’s the kid sister? Fed up?

Couldn’t possibly get the whole family in there. Maybe the women get the pool on the next shift.

Ash, there’s nothing wrong with that pool! If that’s what you can afford then that’s what you can afford and be thankful you get to have one. Half of what’s wrong with this country could be fixed by people learning to live within their means and realizing that they don’t HAVE to have that $5000 6 ft deep gigantic swimming pool. Maybe Adam is just enjoying spending time with his son?! For crying out loud IT’S A COMIC STRIP! It’s supposed to be silly and make fun of real life. Now please quit complaining and ruining the silly fun for the rest of us. Sheesh…
I agree dante.deangelo, carmy, sprinklers and slip n slides are fun too! Or like that commercial where they use the sprinkler system, a hill and some plastic to cool off and slide down the hill. That looks like so much fun! My friends and I totally want to do that now. Too bad our campus is flat as a pancake. lol

Sorry, I wasn’t trying to go off, I actually rarely comment, I’m just tired of coming to my favorite strips and finding complaint after complaint by people who take these things too seriously.
Brian Basset, Bill Amend, Lynn Johnston and others are all talented people who are just trying to bring a little laughter to our day. When we all go out and have successful comic strips with interesting plot lines and characters that have run for many years in major newspapers and websites, THEN I think we can tell them how to do their job. Until then…
