Adam: You are gonna be amazed at my jerky for the school bake sale, Laura. Laura: I'm already amazed, because it's called a "bake sale". As in baked goods. Adam: Silly Laura. The key to success at these things is to carve out a niche. There'll be multiple tables of cupcakes and fudge. But I can assure you we'll be the only jerky table. In fact, I'd bet we win an award for jerkiest table at the bake sale. Laura: You've already got my vote.

I guess he deserves it, but seems his wife is awful down on him all the time lately, it is getting old. Really old.

hey, what’s wrong with thinking a bit out of the box? I’d buy jerky rather than cupcakes any day!

I think he has a good idea. The jerky will sell like hotcakes.

Actually, it sounds like a workable idea to me.

I’d rather have the jerky. Better than too many sweets!!
And just remember, Laura, you married him!

great one. I love the interaction between the two. Real-life couples have fun with each other. It’s good-natured and fun.

Smile, yes, but the folded arms tell another story.

Marriage is about the small moments … humor and communication. My wife wasn’t perfect and that’s what made me love her more. She was flawed and funny and we had a great life.

nobody makes me laugh more than my husband … and only 50% of the time it’s intentional.

Karen, my wife is the same way… and the other 50% of the time, I’m looking at her going “What??”

I agree with David. She seems to spend a lot of time insulting/criticizing him. My litmus test is would I think the joke as funny if we reversed the roles? Too many jokes about how ignorant she is would not seem funny to me. My wife and I joke with each other but it works on a 50/50 basis. I am not seeing the balance here.

Robert, this is what irritates me with Baby Blues sometimes too, the dad is shown to be irritatingly clueless and helpless in the home.
