And EB is out of date as soon as it’s published! Any serious Wilkipedia topic has been heavily edited and discussed — check the “Talk” and “View History” tabs on an entry.
Wikipedia is a very valuable research tool — not as a source by itself, but as a pointer to solid, reliable sources. That’s why the moderators are so insistent on citations and “no original research.” Don’t trust the information on Wikipedia by itself, but check out the references cited to back it up.
