Love this one! We ended up having to buy two baby gates and put one on top of the other to keep our dogs out of certain rooms so they wouldn’t have any “accidents” there.
We actually gated off our bedroom when my daughter was born, since I was concerned the dog would be jealous of the attention to the baby. After a few months, we took the gate off – and the dog still would not enter the room unless we called him. He’d actually sit at the threshold and wait for us to give him the ok to come in. :)
I’m so glad my dog is terrified of the noise the gate makes when it falls over. She ended up being very respectful of boundaries, especially if they’re physical. Otherwise, when someone comes over, she’d bowl them over with her exuberance. Oh, labs…
