I would think that camouflaging oneself as a plant to hunt herbivores wouldn’t be the smartest thing in the first place.

Did anyone else have to look up ‘ghillie’? I did.

Ghillie or gillie is a Scots term that refers to a man or a boy who acts as an attendant on a fishing, fly fishing, hunting, or deer stalking expedition, primarily in the Highlands or on a river such as the River Spey. In origin it referred especially to someone who attended on his employer or guests.

Jeez, I just figured a ghillie suit was a suit worn by a ghillie. Thanks for the tip. You learn something new every day.

Not everyone is allergic to poison ivy. I used to be able to pick the leaves off it with no ill effects. The problem comes due to the body’s reaction to a non-enemy.Example: You get in a fight with someone, and you land 30 punches on him without receiving a single blow. Although you were never hit, your fists are going to be sore!Same with body fighting poison ivy.

Oddly, when I was a kid poison ivy had no effect on me whatsoever. I once rubbed it into my arm, and it did nothing. on a fishing trip a few weeks ago i discovered that it still has no effect at all.
