Patrick: Dad, how can you say TV was better when you were a kid?! When you were a kid, you only got to watch "It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown" once a year! When it was over, you had to wait twelve months to see it again! We can watch it over and over and over! Ralph: He's got me there!

Home video started in the late 70s for videophiles (expensive VHS & Beta with Laserdisk) and became mainstream in the 80s (cheap VHS) so if Ralph is in his 40s he probably had home video in his teens.

The only reason i watch those Peanuts shows any more is because of Lee Ritenour. Great Jazz music for the shows.
