Sure they are. Just a convienent excuse for giving the kid a beer. Kinda shocked it wasn’t mead given Tyr’s past of trying to order mead all the time.

Mead is a fermented honey beverage that is making a come back. There are several wineries around here that have added mead to their product lines.
