This is actually something I don’t like about a lot of comics. If a hero cares about their friends and family, they should immediately tell them about their identity and powers if they trust them enough. That way they at least know they have protection and how to contact someone if they encounter danger or stumble across something and have a “Gosh I wish a superhero were here right now!” situation.
More Jaime Rayes, less Peter Parker.
