A teenage boy who doesn’t wear deodorant - it sounds like the premis for a horror movie.

Hypershock, do you sweat even shen you’re not working out? On places other than your pits? Hands, feet, etc.?

You may have hyperhydrosis. I do. Palms sweat all day long. Hold on to paper towels at office meetings. Aggravating.

A good use for anti-bacterial soaps is to wash the areas (such as under-arm) where the bacteria responsible for body-odour tend to cluster–as it temporarily (meaning for maybe a few hours) crashes their numbers.

Ewwwwwwww! Carmy, I can smell from them to mine, too! It is not pleasant to smell from them. Maybe I should spray the Lysol with anti-bacterial to kill their body orders.

You need to take a bath in Lestoil or Dettol Cruz!

The most cost-effective and useful method is to use plain old rubbing alcohol, which – as prasrinivara points out – kills a large percentage of germs. Follow that with a good powder, or plain corn starch, because germs need a moist environment to reproduce.

No, it doesn’t last all day, but it’s easy to repeat. You can get alcohol wipes, or even put some alcohol gel on a paper towel to wipe down when necessary.

Having coached youth (13-18 yrs old) basketball for 10 years, there is NOTHING that smells worse than sweaty, teenage boys, including cow manure and skunk! But I still love the guys I coached, and had hygiene discussions with them, when they wouldn’t listen to their mothers. Part of being a coach…
