Oh, I know that feeling! I have a copy of Pride and Prejudice and a copy of Cold Comfort Farm that have literally been around the world. I wouldn’t give them up for anything!
6th shelf cynthia? Wanna come over and see my storage unit? (Hey, what can I say? When libraries have 5 and 10 cent sales, I can’t resist. I have this copy of The Count of Monte Cristo, looks like it’s been to Hell and back. Got it for a nickel.)
I like the new format much better (the thumbnails at top allow me to navigate to WHICHSOEVER strip I wish to add comments to, skipping in-betweens)–without also going into “default singleton” mode of unregistered user!
We need to do a little cross comic strip matchmaking. Gracie needs to meet Jason from Foxtrot - she might level out some of his nerdiness and he would lift her beyond her own need to be in charge. Either that or they would hate each other and never speak (more likely?) Anyway, it would be an amusing concept.

Gracie, you can come back and learn a lot from the books that will be your friends at school. :-)

No Gracie, you can make many new friends of this type at your local public “free” library!

Plus Gracie could make Jason sound cooler by calling him “Zorro”, which is Spanish for “fox”.
