Wow. Almost completely thought-free commentary. Other than being mad that Biden overwhelmed the lying little punk, have you got anything to say about the debate?
It’s simply saying what many observed — that Biden acted like the stereotypical loud-mouthed bore of an uncle at family get-togethers. Certainly far from how most people expect a VP to behave, especially during such serious times and on such serious topics.
I only wish Ryan, when mentioning how well Romney has worked with democrats, pointed out that instead of laughing and smirking at them he brought them to the table as respected colleagues and got things done. Ending with “that is what he did in Massachusetts as governor and that is what he will do in Washington as president.”
I think Uncle Joe had a few too many glasses of wine before dinner. Either that or he’s just the Uncle you REALLY hope can’t make it on Thanksgiving. Complete arse.
Conservatives NEVER discuss the issues, for they known they will lose. Best attack the man instead..Right. You don’t pay any attention at all to how libs here act, do you?
Hmm, M-1 tanks. Over 2,000 are now stored on the Mohave desert because the Army already has way more than they need. “Upgrading” the ones stored that the Army doesn’t need is scheduled to cost some $4 billion! “Congress”, read those in the contractors pocket, demand the money be wasted, ’er spent, anyway! This is just one more case of MIC fraud on the taxpayers. Now, where is the complaint from Mitt, or the right, on THIS little budget fiasco? Oh, right, PBS.
I wish our legislators would be as polite as folks at dinner try to be. The whole debate ‘meal’ was unsatisfying if you were looking for substance. Glad there was bourbon after dinner, I still would rather have a beer with Joe than Ryan, especially since Joe and I have the same shirt. ;)Respectfully,C.
On what Bizarro Planet is a putz like Ryan considered an economist? As Rick Santorum so elegantly put it, “Smart people don’t become Republicans.” Priceless.

No apology necessary. If the kid can’t defend himself, or tell the truth on anything, he shouldn’t be at the table.

You libs must be real proud of your uncle joe. He proved himself to be not only a fool but rude and obnoxious. What a coup for the dems.

Unable to make a proper comeback on substantive issues, Republicans nag Biden about tone. A Good Cartoon.

What a bunch of malarkey!!! They both interrupted each other. So Payne thinks it’s OK for Ryan to interrupt but not OK for Biden to do the same?
