I just stare at the TV, not stare at the wall, tho’.

Sergio may have “stared” at:

(1) newspaper (other than comics page) (2) comics (either book, or from printed newspaper)–quite noble to stare at, as Marg stated (3) hockey-ball (field hockey) or futbol!–even nobler to “stare at”

(I can remember “staring” at cricket-ball in India prior to emigrating to Canada…)

I actually did stare at the wall…

there was a map of the world there, a list of phonetic sounds and the alphabet, I was always learning.
