12-year-old Anil Barela of Khargone District, Madhya Pradesh, India, accidentally inhaled a fish that he had been holding in his mouth. When a doctor removed it during a 45 minute operation, the fish was still alive! Bruce Campbell of Hillsboro, Ore., USA, lives in a Boeing 727 jet airplane that he has converted into a home! The nuclear bombs dropped on Japan at the end of World War II permanent shadows and structures from places where people or objects blocked the searing light!

I think Steve Miller said something in a song about jets and home.

I read of a woman in Hiroshima whose skin was permanently colored like the floral print of the kimono she was wearing when the bomb hit.

while horrific indeed, the bombings saved millions of lives on both sides, were there to be an invasion of the home islands.THEY were the unlucky ones; the collateral damage, if you will

Those here suggesting painting over the images of the innocent humans we killed in Japan are the same apathetic fools who keep the war machine alive. Slaughter, molest, bury it and move on to the next. Nice people indeed. Wonder how they would feel if it were their loved ones. But, these people never do reflect on things so never mind.

Night-Gaunt49, You misunderstood my comment. Let me clarify. As you know the US is the only country that has used nuclear weapons on another nation. I read an interesting quote by William Faulkner today: “The past is never dead. It’s not even past.”

I am tempted to change my commenter name to “Still Sarcastic”. RIP all the innocents who have died in war.
