I use to know some very tasty Candies/Snacks, but over the years the recipes change to fit/fall into the “Healthy” category and sadly no companies no longer know how to get the taste and texture right and than stop tasting good…

If they were so smart, they’d alter/manipulate the ingredients at the genetic level without disturbing the outcome of the taste and texture. Organic Foods may be a more healthy choice to “some” (their choice) but it can only go so far…

I’d rather have science which should be advanced enough, extract all the positive nutritional stuff (while leaving out the negatives) out of whatever and have it all compressed and repackaged into better tasting candies/snacks/foods…

But that’s just me and maybe a couple of other minorities who are comfortable with eating modified foods cooked by science/alchemy…

She can always give Clem sugarless gum and a toothbrush when he shows up.

@imrobert,So you don’t think Rose would have a shopping cart at an awards ceremony! Okay, but Pasquale is turning Rose’s daydream into a nightmare. Btw, it’s a good thing Rose doesn’t yell at Pasquale for bringing up candy. Then she might be putting the cart before the ‘hoarse’!

er … no. Can’t say i’ve ever tasted the candle i put inside the pumpkin … altho’ i have ingested lots and lots of candy corn and intend to do so again.

Seriously though…why do they call small candy fun-size? I don’t think, "Wow fun! I got less than I wanted!’ I think, “Where’s the rest of it?!”

Just noticed we had some old “rose is rose” strips lying around in another comic book. Amazing the difference in appearance, but not how they act (besides pasquale aging :p).

Well…, What can I say? Some of us love to “Hack” and reprogram our favorite candies/snacks/foods the same way some of us love to Hack/Reprogram/Modify PCs/Laptops or other types of DIY Hacks…

But all in all to simply and plainly put it… just leave the taste and texture well alone and we’all be happy. I sure all of us can at less agree on that…

I like good candy corn, but the knock off brands are hard and stale and nasty!

I’m surprised if any kids come to her door once word gets out that she’s passing out stuff that’s “good for you”.

Giving out sugar free candy like that is a good way to save money…

Word will get out and no kids will come to your door.
