Relax, nobody could be you Alice.
What about PT for petey?
Years ago, William Steig wrote a book titles “CDB” that told one-page stories in letters. I saw a copy back in the mid-1970s, and it’s still in print. Of course that was before text messages were ever imagined.
YAY, Alice! You can write your name, “LS”! Now you have powerful name-magic at your fingertips! Thanks, PT (as torn newspaper suggested)!
I love the way Alice’s suspicions and aggressions are perfectly complemented by Petey’s wonky paranoia.
What more than one Alice? The world is not big enough.
She’ll have endless possibilities for vanity plates when she gets a car some day.
Here’s one I found from 1880! This was in St. Nicholas Illustrated magazine for May, 1880.

Isn’t this the season for Mrs. Otterloop’s amazing and hideous Christmas sweaters? Bring them on.
So Alice is left handed, huh? Definitely a sign of genius.
Very clever comments today!

Alice and Petey are a good team.
When I was in first grade, I made up my own language and my teacher let me use it in a facing-page translation on my spelling tests.
