Of course, not one of the four knows what the heck Bill was actually trading.

Baseball cards? Or just “stuff” . like… I’ll give you this pair of old shoes for that electric guitar….which you trade for a ’97 Impala… easy!

Pacopuddy … I’d think it takes Americans a while too.

    I HOPE that’s Joy’s misspelling, not Julie’s.

I think Burl should do it because in less six months the series would feature The Pennys living out of their car

The theme today seems to be “out of date” and I still have a couple of old Beta tapes that I never got transfered to another media (commercial films taped from TV) and I remember Sam Spade on the radio (old detective show). Back when I was editor for PTA newsletters for my kids grade and high schools, I typed and drew all the illustrations on those wax sheets.

Bill would not be making $20,000 on the stock market. Maybe he DOES have some valuable collections he’s “trading” on Ebay, or maybe he’s doing something more nefarious (explaing why he won’t share).

I remember getting a buzz off of the smell of mimeograph ink from freshly pressed paper. It’s the little things in life like tin foyal that make me get up every day. I’d be surprised if she found one of theses machines. lol

Considering the money available, the technology level they work at, and their production run quantity, they should consider a Hectograph.

If the “find it” is a ding dong, there are at least 6 in today’s comic.

I never liked that smell, but then, I had to use a lot of the similar correction fluid (for my drawings and cartoons in the newsletters). I also used oil paints back then and still have a fondess for the scent of turpentine.

Back when I worked for TRW (before "W’) (it was just Thompson Ramo) I had to use an ABDick Codo Duplicating Machine. We typed on multi sheets and each copy went to a different department. The whole office smelled like duplicating fluid. I wonder if today’s EPA standards would have allowed that. Those dummies couildn’t “make” anything on their computers, because their computers were built in 1985.
