… he noticed wifey getting miffed (tends to be pretty obvious), and when she stepped out for a smoke (probably already fuming), he took that opportunity to politely ask Lila to stare at somebody a little less taken already …
… coz you know how it is with ladies … the wife will not only get mad at Lila for staring at her man, she’ll also get mad at her man for enjoying it!
I would have taken it as a compliment on my choice of men…but then I was never a jealous person…
