It’s true that both parties are caught in the financial bind that makes them beholden to the deep pockets of corporations. Having said that, there are significant differences.
I talked to a lady who was going to vote NO on all the propositions because she didn’t want to read up on them. Why bother voting! Hopefully there are enough informed people voting.
All us women, even those of us past our reproductive years, need to think carefully before we vote. Otherwise the ghosts of Susan B. Anthony, Dorothea Dix, Margaret Sanger, Alice Paul, and other brave foremothers who risked their lives to give us the freedoms and opportunities we take for granted will haunt us.
Like I tell my kid you can turn in a empty ballot as long as you go and turn in a ballot. A lot of people do not know you do not have to vote for every issue or every position on the ballot. Matter of fact better if you left that slot blank if you do not know. He is what does matter lets say middle class people do not vote. Who are you going to take care of while in office Middle class no way they do not vote. you are going to shaft the middle class to help out the people that vote. Rule one of voting your welcome
My lover was saying the other day that he will vote for one of the minor parties because all the R & D only have bad things to say about the other. I hope and believe he was kiddiing or just pulling my chain. It would NOT make a statement, just waste a vote! I am still staying staight R, even though I once voted for Kennedy. Back when I was married to a crazy Cuban.
If you’re undecided still – just remember, at least Romney will have the restraint of needing to be re-elected to keep him in line. There won’t be any such restraint on Obama if he gets a second term.

Answering Tony’s question is a lot safer than discussing politics and this election,
