    I can understand why.

I always believed that Pluto is a planet and I still say it is.

And anyone who disagrees is an uneducated halfwit.

It must take Pluto a while to travel through space, since that decision was reached several years ago.

Pluto is more than twice the diameter and a dozen times the mass of the dwarf planet Ceres, the largest object in the asteroid belt(Wikipedia). So…I don’t think so.

Good point. The earth was always the center of the universe, why change it now?

Is that Mike Brown answering the door? #What bothers me is that the IAU did not vote on the other major sized solar system bodies, and just “grandfathered in”: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, as fully fledged Planets without voting on each of them, based on the definition of a Planet. Only Pluto had to pass the definition and a vote to be classified as a Planet or not. Rumor has it that Dr. Neil Tyson was the main arguer against Pluto. Mike Brown was not part of the committee that made the decision but he was and still is against Pluto being classified as a Planet.

I love how you can learn so much from the comments to these comics. What I really like about this site is not only do they have great comics, but the comments are wonderful.

No, not all the planets orbit on the same plane. I suggest that a bit of research is in order.
