I’m convinced they say that even though their menu options haven’t changed since the Reagan administration. The ones where they make you say what you want are the ones that drive me batty. I hate saying my private information out loud and I usually have to say something to my kids at the same time which confuses the computer. I usually end up yelling “Customer Service, Customer Service!!” in a panic until something happens. I feel like a fool and end up so ticked off.

They asked a question and then said “say yes or no”. So I said “yes or no” and crashed the system.

Pressing “0” usually works for me. Those machines never understand me, I guess because of my southern accent.
