    Clearly none of you were there. ‘Fab gear’ meant that you were wearing cool clothes. Gear has always meant clothes or equipment.

    You can get by with decorating a school with black lights and peace signs and Beatles posters, but don’t even think about Christmas decorations unless you want to get expelled.

    Ah, yes, the Nehru shirts (and jackets)….I loved my wide wale bell-bottomed corduroy pants! And my Leisure suits!
