We had a Staffordshire that literally ate us out of house and home. He chewed a corner off an Oriental rug, ate my prescription sunglasses, pulled the pieces off the lattice around the patio – and ate them – and finally chewed his harness apart and ran away. No, we didn’t go looking for him.
Hold on a second! The people from whom we got him told us he WAS crate trained. We did work with the dog, but one of the things he managed to chew up was his crate. Just too mcuh dog for two old folks.

Ah, Penny! Princess Penelope to you AKC snobs. She brightened our hearts and ate all our wood for 9 years. She’s gone now, but her legacy remains.

My cat ate lots of food, but generally only mauled the furniture. My couch has lovely shredded side arms. Sort of a shaggy look to them.
