Linda, are you saying that Andy’s mum-in-law looks like an Oompa Loompa? (Actually, I wouldn’t doubt that…….)

Thank you, I hope you do too!

Glad you have everything almost finished.

Will be completed before you know it.

It began snowing for the first time in my area today.

I think it looks pretty falling from the sky.

    Glad you’ve been doing good!

Ok, I just did the contact us thing here at gocomics. I have never had a page load so slowly in my life, and yes! I am including the time back when we were all on Windows 3.1 and thought 32 mgb’s of memory was totally awesome….Bev, you are not alone! I ran disk cleanup, defragged and ran my registry cleaner, rebooted, etc. Every other site I go to is loading 5-7 times faster than any page here at gocomics. Does going Pro expedite matters any? I am tempted to do so just to see if it speeds things up any…please let me know your thoughts on that. Ok, I have put up 3 cookie cans of Truffles and 4 of Pralines…best get to making the date balls…gawd, I gotta quit sampling stuff…but its so good!

Today is the 79th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition in the US. Drink a toast! What a lot of people don’t know about Prohibition: owning and drinking alcoholic beverages was not illegal – producing (without a license), selling and buying it was. People who laid in a stockpile could legally consume and serve booze bought legally before Amendment XVIII went into effect.

no Pet, they are equally slow, and those without much of a comment screen load just as slowly…like Elderberries…no comments – 5 minutes to load…Andy Capp 54 comments – 5 minutes to load…I truly think they need to reboot some servers…burp the routers…STOP loading ad’s that are movies…(my one really big pet peeve)…just wondering if going Pro would help…its not expensive so, its a thought…

sheesh, I just deleted instead of submitting a post…so much for my limited computer ability…lol….I went pro…just to see if it would speed things up…and now on my home page is every comic I subscribe to here ( I am gonna add some just to take advantage of having paid for something I can get for free..lol..) I am not illiterate when it comes to computers. I owned the first bandit server (ISP) in deep east Texas 17 years ago. I can maintain a pc, reformat it, etc. even though my posting skills leave much to be desired. I am about to try to load B.S. again just to see how long it takes now…will let ya’ll know…

I have a feeling its all the ads Tony….once I rebooted after going Pro, and came back (to Andy naturally) from my history for today, it loaded so quickly I didnt have time to – well, time it!Its all those vicious ad’s. The movies of the advertisement just annoy the beejeebers out of me. Thats the one good thing with Pro I guess, no ads. Hallelujah! Totally worth that…just saying…and it helps support the artists somewhat…at least it pays for gocomics to do this…so be it…I guess what I am saying is this; the old saying is true…you get what you pay for…sigh…I feel like my grandmother is talking…I have turned into her…occasionally, I see her in the mirror…and realize that its me and shudder…I dont wanna be a short old woman…lol…but its better than the alternative for sure!,,,

at least I wouldnt need a step stool to get into my upper cabinets where I store stuff I dont use all the time…aka that time known as making Christmas stuff…lol…but I have been having fun making up treats, and just think…I havent started on the cookie’s yet!!…I will make many of them, but gosh, I love the sugar cookies because you get to get creative with them…I am already drawing designs…and have the points to put on the icing/frosting to make them…I best go to the store after my MRI tomorrow to make sure I have enough green and red frosting/icing’s…and I like blue and yellow…omg…how could I forget silver and gold?….I must be getting senile, besides just old…and short….heavy sigh…

Eldo Pet, sweet sweet Pet, you keep referring to B.S. and dogs….I take it you know about Fenton. I swear he was just a passing fancy. As much as I hate to admit it, he dumped me. sigh He was the cutest Boxer…had ears the color of gold…so regal…so proud…so happy to be scritched behind the ears…so in love with yak ribs….I tell ya, he was a jewel…but he left me…all because of my cat…didnt say a word, just up and left me…I am slightly verklempt…but I’ll get over it….so many dogs, so few hydrants….

ya know, tis is the season and all that, but todays strip made me think of mothers and my own…she was gone before I was sentient, but I feel her just the same. Mothers are like that, I suppose. I know my own son feels my presence at times; because he will call, or send flowers or something to mark our relationship. I hope everyone has someone in thier lives like this. That is my hope for everyone at the holidays, and any other time…
