The term “Holidays” is not a slight against “Christmas”. It usually refers to the combined Christmas/New Years holiday season for one. Also, not everyone is a “Christian” and there are other religious celebrations in this season. Too, the Winter Solstice was celebrated at this time of year long before the birth of Christ. Early Christians set this time of year as Christs Birthday as a means of co-opting an existing holiday. And so Mr. Watson, I would suggest you do a little research before accusing folks of being unnecessarily politically correct and of maligning “Christmas”.
