The old Bill Cosby Chocolate Cake for Breakfast routine? “There’s eggs in there; there’s milk in there …”

Reminds me of a song I heard on the oldies station… Bread and Butter by the Newbeats:

I like bread and butter,I like toast and jam,That’s what my baby feeds me,I’m her loving man.

Can’t beat warmed-over pizza for breakfast, or refried spaghetti bolognese.

Since when is any piece of pie “leftover.” It’s just not eaten yet. Dibs on the last piece!

Yeah, what’s the difference? American breakfasts are 99% carbs so donuts, toast, cereal, pie, etc. are pretty much equivalent.

Earl stole my line re: What’s the difference between pie and toast and jam. I quite often have apple pie for breakfast. Keeps me regular…

All this eggs are only for breakfast and chicken fingers are only for lunch is just bull crap. Eat what you want when you want it. It really doesn’t matter. If you want steak and mashed potatoes for breakfast, go for it!

I got to make a comment, cheese and apple pie, yummy. But do not warm up the pie in micro wave, it ruins the crust & the cheese gets tough. Toaster oven works better, may be a little slower. Merry Christmas now, in case we are not here after the end of time,

Now, how am I going to get my traditonal Swedish breakfast if my in-laws are going to make those barfing faces at me? Pickled herring goes fine with eggs and there’s nothing better on toast and jam than some sharp cheddar.

In my younger, very active days, it wasn’t uncommon for me to start my morning with steak, eggs, toast, home fries, a couple bottles of ale and ( sometimes ) a pre-breakfast doobie. This was my kick starter, breakfast of champions !

As i recall steak and eggs was the breakfeast of the astronauts in the early years. Space travel is weird if you know what I mean. By the way “MERRY CHRISTMAS! Luv You-All!”
