The 21st Century version of Gil Thorp supposedly deals with issues that teens face today.I am not convinced that exotic birds top the list. Maybe the peacock will make it to The Bucket.
I’m hoping this storyline has a Steven King twist to it and the peacock really represents something sinister and evil. Maybe it’s the spirit of that tattoo artist from last season.
How in the world are they going to work the Melek Taus, AKA the Peacock Angel, AKA Shaytan, the central figure in the Yezidi religion into this story? Is JayBird’s older brother to start the Kurdish Liberation Front in Milford?
