You have to remember what Britain went through in WWII and the 4-7 years afterward. Many of the citizens raised, slaughtered and ate rabbit and other small livestock. They were lucky to get meat once a week.

What a relief to be here. Thank you all for you Christmas greetings and, especially, your civil and loving posts. I made the mistake of stopping by Dunesbury and Non Sequitor first. I will refrain next Christmas.Our day has been lovely. The Grands came for breakfast and will be back for dinner. I have recently been on a diet. That has gone the way of the “Old South”. The best part will be the lack of drugs and alcohol at our festivities. I pray you all will be blessed by family and friends today and always. Merry Christmas
