Florrie has trouble buying Clothes.Besides the fact Wardrobe Money is usually draught or bet on a ’cert,She has this peculiar image of Herself:^^On the other hand, that’s likely exactly how Flo looked when Andy first met her!
All you ‘regulars’ in the comment column are like club members… You all seem to know (and mostly like) each other and make reading the comics strips much more fun. Thanks, and a Happy New Year to you all.
You sound level-Headed, now…. Who / what do you see in the New Year?Um, lets see…cold and more snow for 3 or 4 months, followed by a lovely spring, with me working on my flower beds..then there is road construction season, then prepping for winter, then its Halloween, Turkey Day and yet another Christmas…lol…with a few trips scheduled to enjoy…I am ashamed to admit with it being so close, but I have never been to Canada, except briefly on the cruise at Vancouver…so I plan on visiting Toronto, and possibly Windsor…and I am going to Texas in January…yay!…its gonna be more than 3 degrees there too…
Florrie and I both would have hurt that woman….if I owned that shop, I wouldnt need to being in Donald Trump to tell the little wench that she was ever so FIRED!!
The sad truth, be it in the U.S., U.K., or Canada, there is no such thing as customers service. Store clerks, check out cashiers, waitstaff, etc. all act like they’re doing you a big favor even to acknowledge your existence – which they do grudgingly, with a surly look.Pleasant people serving the public have become so rare that I make a point of thanking them for their cheery attitude.Niceness doesn’t cost anything but it sure goes a long way.
You are gladly welcome. I knew a guy who used the word “soppy”. He wasn’t English but was nuts about Dr. Who, Monty Python and liked to dabble in Glenlivet. Hope you got your boxes out for pickup. I shopped a bunch of screw-in LED c-7 size, bulbs at the hardware store today.
Pretty bulbs! Love the colours.
He’s got good taste. You told me that you watch Dr Who.
30-40 years ago, two people could pay rent, utilities, groceries, keep an old car and go out every week or so(if they watched it), on 2 minimum wage jobs. That doesn’t happen today, no wonder the workers are not cheerful.

’Juno and the Paycock’ sounds really good. I’ve never heard of it before.
Thank you for the info about it.
I love Black & White movies… They seem ‘cosy’ to me for some reason.
I like photographs in Black & White too. My Avatar was originally in colour until I edited it.
I think it looks better that way…
Glad you’re doing good.
I hope you have a good sleep.
