I love the way Brian is drawing this out longer so we (and Sophie) have more anticipation over the kittens. I also hope that they will have some gesturing with tails entwined in episodes with Soph.
I knew a Manx once, a big and friendly cat. He didn’t appreciate the other cats messing with him, so he would yawn a huge fang-filled yawn and start washing his huge claw-filled paw. The other kitties would take the hint.

No, they’re Denebian slime devils.

Watch, they’ll be cute little Fluffy-Muffins; EXCEPT when they’re alone with Sophie.
(We’ve already seen that reality is somewhat ‘conditional’ in this Neighborhood, i.e. her ‘friend’ the lake monster.)

I like the subtle, shrugging response from Doug.

Eek. Kittens like that I don’t want to see.

I have a Tom cat with claws like that. He’s friendly with them, but they still hurt!
